Stationary: I am doing my invites, wish tree, table numbers, place cards and seating chart
Decor: I hired a decorator and florist but I consider it almost DIY because I know exactly what I want and they will help me put it together.
Shoes: Blinging it out with swaravski crystals.
Veils for the three mine brides (my flower girls)

I guess that is pretty much everything! :)

i hope to DIY a lot of my wedding! starting with my watercolour invitation designs for now, then on to candy, signs and decor, until i run out of time….

We hope to DIY our invitations, centrepieces, seating chart (thinking luggage tags hung on a board for guests to take home), and favours (some kind of homemade savory product like a spice rub as we love to cook). Our venue is a renovated hardware store, a real blank slate, and we are so excited to begin to create! Also, this show is 3 blocks from our house, so it will be a fun community event for my fiance and I to attend before we get our “craft on.”

This is great, I didn’t know about this show. I am trying to do a mostly DIY wedding except the dinner. All of our signs (we’re getting married at a farm an hour away from Ottawa), finger foods, late night snacks, barn and event location decor, centrepieces, lighting, place cards/names, activities between ceremony and reception, ceremony decorations etc will be done by us. At the same time, we’re trying to make the entire event low-waste for 150 people. Wish us luck!

We’re DIYing our cake, invitations, centrepieces and flowers. Boutonnieres are already done! I had no idea about this wedding show in the Glebe. Close to home to get more inspiration and techniques for my fiance and I!

Hm, we just got engaged three days ago so we haven’t started the planning yet! I’m lucky to have three very artistic sisters though, so I expect we’ll be doing plenty of DIY… place settings, decorations, invites. I think I need tickets to this show so I can get inspired! :)

I will be DIYing my invitations, my table top decor including table numbers, centrepieces and place markers, my bouquets and other flower arrangements, props for my photos (thank you signs etc,), gifts for the wedding party.

I am really looking forward to the show and have a set plan for which workshops I want to attend. The invitation and bouquet workshops sound promising.

Thank you!
