What’s always on trend and totally classic is an all-white event. Today I’m sharing a beautiful all white bridal shower with pretty pops of color that will tug at your love of all things girly. This Burlington event was captured by With Love Heather.

Says the bride (Ashley): On October 7th, 2011 the elementary school that I teach at was abuzz with preparations for our Annual Turkey Luncheon.  It was the day before the Thanksgiving Day holiday and I had scheduled it to be a day filled with turkey and fun activities.  At the end of the day I decided to dismiss my students from the playground.  I got the entire class packed up and was playing soccer with them when the principal came outside to tell me that my students had left the class a mess and needed to come back inside the school immediately to clean it up.  I was so shocked I hurried my students back into the class, just to see for myself how messy it really was.  While the principal was lecturing my students on setting good examples for others, the secretary interrupted and told the principal that a guest had come to the school to see me.  I was shocked that someone would interrupt me while I was working, and I was even more worried that my principal would be even more irritated with me.  I turned to the door ready to tell whoever walked in that they needed to come back later, when to my disbelief, Drew walked in all dressed up.  He was followed by his friend Dave with a video recorder and all my students began to gasp. Many of them didn’t know what was going on, while others (the girls) figured it out as soon as he got down on one knee (even more gasps), while other students assumed they were be filmed for reality TV. He told me I was his best friend and that he wanted to share the rest of his life with me.  I was speechless, I couldn’t believe he proposed in front of so many staff and students.  I was even more shocked because I wasn’t sure if he had even asked permission to do it! But once I saw the principal and many staff members with watery eyes, I knew he had planned the whole thing.
