Today I get to share an upscale Parisian inspired photoshoot with loads of pretty gold and pink details and hints of teal. The color combination lends itself to be quite modern, from the oversized tufted teal sofa to the long tulip arrangements. Captured by Christopher TODD Studios, the goal of the photoshoot was to show rich, lush textures and help couples envision how different elements can work together in one space in addition to being open to different concepts and colors. Enjoy!
The floral was to represent a sense of opulence and wealth. For the ceremony a bed of rose petals lined the bottom of the Victoria sofa while a baroque style chandelier covered in hydrangeas hung above. The raw and modern elements were brought in with potted roses and tulips. All of the ceremony décor was finished off with up lighting in the hue of soft pink and a gobo of a heart surrounded with a petal design.
For the table scape a lush centerpiece of pink hydrangeas and tulips lined the center of the table surrounded by a delicacy of small desserts and cakes on a gold and blush linen. Clear-gold beaded chargers held white china with a turquoise rim. White furniture was brought in to modernize the table scape along with turquoise up lighting to frame the fireplace. To create a feel of opulence a chandelier with hydrangeas and tulips hung directly above the center of the table.
The idea and inspiration came from the designers’ love of France in the springtime and elegance that many brides are now getting away from. We combined modern elements such as white and black furniture to create a more direct and up to date feeling while producing a look that was soft, romantic, and very elegant. Our color scheme revolved around pastel colors such as pinks and neutrals with accents of gold and turquoise. The wardrobe was carefully chosen to complement the details of the lush floral, rosette and ribbon appliques.
