Time flies when you’re having fun… Or stressing out.
Holy cow. (Am I saying that a lot in my posts lately?)
This past Thursday marked 100 days until the wedding!
Since I promised one of the grooms men that I would not share a daily countdown on Facebook, I’ve been marking the big milestones instead. 200, 150, 100, etc.
Is it just me or is 100 a biggy? Just over 3 months. Time to get serious. Review the check-lists with a magnifying glass. Double check deadlines.
The closer we get, the more exciting, the more real. Our wedding invitations arrived last week from Cheer Up Press and we love them. I’ll be sure to share them later on. The joy every time I peek inside the box full of pink and dots and fun font is occasionally tainted by the reminder that I need to address all those envelopes, neatly by hand. And what if I run out? The guest list seems to keep expanding.
Certainly planning the wedding has been lots of fun, but there have been bumps along the way. Which I’m sure all of you can commiserate about. Opinions, traditions, feelings.
Through it all, I check the count down on my iPhone and remind myself of the best part: Only __ days left until I marry my best friend. The rest, just is what it is. The most important thing is us.
