Happy Tuesday everyone! Today Lyn Ismael shares with us a beautiful wedding that she captured at the beautiful Langdon Hall in Cambridge, Ontario. The venue was sentimental to the bride, a place she visited often with her late father and their decor was inspired by the building along with a gorgeous pairing color of amethyst. Too pretty.

What was your favorite wedding moment?
It is too hard to pick just one favourite moment. The top moments would be the ‘reveal’ when we saw each other for the first time. Lyn did a great job of surprising me. I like to know how things will play out, but she set it up in a way that my husband was able to come up from behind and surprise me. The ceremony and the speeches from our friends and family were also highlights. It was an unforgetable day overall, so I could easily go on and on.

How did you two meet?
We met through mutual friends in our last year of high school. We were together 10 years before we got married.

What was the overall inspiration behind your wedding decor & color choices?

The inspiration behind our overall wedding decor and colour choices were based on the venue. We wanted make sure that we complimented what was already in place at Langdon Hall (i.e., architecture, decor and gardens). The colours were also based on complimenting the venue as well as amethyst colour that I has chosen for the bridesmaid dresses. We wanted our wedding to be both classic and unique. The venue has sentimental value for me in that it was a place that I had often visited with my father, who had passed away two years before our wedding.

Any advice for bride/grooms-to-be?
-Book your vendors asap so that you get who/what you want and so that you know who/what you are working with
-Do it your way – Remember that it is your day!
-Get a videographer. This is the one thing that we left out thinking that it was not that important. Looking back we really wish that we had had a videographer for the special moments like the ceremony and speeches. There is so much to take in on your special day that you are not able to experience it all in the moment.

Oh my God! As what the site’s name is, I am really obsessed for weddings like this.
I have been collecting ideas about wedding events, as well as different occasions in which i could use this on the different events I do and covered.

I really love the whole concept of the wedding. The details were absolutely perfect! and the wedding gown, it was really stunning and elegant. I just remember the one I wore on my wedding day, that makes all the crowd “wowed’ for the first time they saw me walking on the isle. It was really beautiful as this one. I have been thanking the designer of that gown, which they made me fell very happy. That was from bridesire.com that made me a gown almost similar to this one.

I am very touched with the photos though, I would love to get married again!

Cheers to the couple!
