We started off the week on a fabulous note and we’re ending it just as well, with a beautiful spring photoshoot sent over by Academy Florist. It’s filled with pretty pink inspiration, gorgeous florals and vintage details. Collaborating with some fabulous Winnipeg vendors, this shoot captured by Moore Photography was created to suit the bride’s budget and a chance to incorporate charming DIY details.
Lauren of Academy Florist shares how you can re-create the look:
- Add in textured details that aren’t overwhelming: fluttering linens, wicker lanterns, mercury glass vases and votives, and handmade paper rosettes place cards.
- When it comes to the flowers, go for clusterings of small blooms offset with a few large ones, like peonies or garden roses.
- Select a soft colour palette: pinks, taupe, champagne and ivory was our starting point.
This photoshoot will also be featured in the upcoming September issue of Weddings in Winnipeg.
