Welcome back after a beautiful Canada Day long weekend! I’ve got a pretty Montreal wedding to start off your week and it’s just full of layered whites, silvers + sparkle. Captured by James Paul Correia Photography, this wedding is simple, yet elegant. The bride and groom opted against the frills of weddings having no cake, bouquet/garter toss, instead focusing on the most important parts of a wedding. I particularly love the images shot at a local flower and fruit market (a thankful back-up plan due to rain). Enjoy!

I haven’t seen a white-based wedding in a very long time. When I say white-based I’m talking about the theme colors; white being the base shade with silver touches and shimmering decorations. It’s great to see that there was a back-up plan for the wedding shoot and that it worked out so well. I’m from Vancouver where the rule is you always carry an umbrella even if it’s the sunniest day you have ever seen. You never know when it will start raining; therefore back-up plans are important.
The brides dress and accessories were beautiful. The mermaid style dress with lace detail really suited her body shape. And the accessories gave the whole look an elegant yet stylish feel. The couple looked stunning and I absolutely adore the three shots when the future bride and groom see themselves for the last time before the ceremony. The emotion captured by James Paul Correia is remarkable.
Overall the wedding was very elegant and unique. All the details and decorations were done very tastefully therefore the white shade in the color scheme did not take away from the bride and her dress. Beautiful wedding, wonderful couple and amazing photography. Kudos to the vendors and of course Weddingobsession.
