Who said bridesmaids have to wear the same outfits? I admit I was one of those brides and believed that rule was one that shouldn’t be broken. Well, shouldn’t is a strong word…in fact the thought never even came to me while I was planning my wedding.
Next to graphic bridesmaid dresses, my latest obsession is when bridesmaids wear different dresses in either the same color or complementing colors. Will you be one of these brides?

Oh and there`s one real wedding that we featured months ago where the bridesmaids each wore different dresses. See the wedding here.

Think this is such a good idea! RT @wedobsession: Wish I did this for my own wedding..gah! http://t.co/IFjci95z
SmartBride Boutique (@SmartBride) on June 18, 2012I love the idea of colour complementing dresses for bridemaids! It avoids predictability as they walk down the aisle, an array of colours before the brides grand entrance! I think more brides-to-be need to be aware and open to this concept! It also gives you so many more interesting angles for wedding photography and allows the brides white gown to really pop!
