I’m personally thrilled to introduce to you our newest bridal blogger from the beautiful city of Vancouver. Vinnie’s engaged to her lovely fiance Stephen and they’re getting married in the fall of 2013. She’s got loads of blogging experience and is the current senior web producer and contributing editor for Schema Magazine. I asked her to answer some of my fun questions that I always ask my bridal bloggers..so I hope this gives you a little insight into our latest blogger.
What are your favourite wedding colours?
My wedding colours will probably involve shades of lavender. I love muted peach and nude for a vintage or rustic look. I also love unexpected vibrant pops of colour.
How long have you been blogging?
Remember Xanga? I used to have a Xanga account and blogged on it all the time. This was about eight years ago. I’ve been blogging at a more professional capacity for about two years now.
What are some of your hobbies?
Pilates and yoga. Trying new foods. Movies and literature. Pinterest-ing. And definitely trolling wedding blogs.
Name one piece of clothing you can’t live without.
It’s so hard to pick just one! My only pair of Lululemon speed shorts. I wear them for yoga, Pilates, running, and doing Jillian Michaels DVDs. And my fiance’s oversized grey Canucks sweatshirt. I could live in that thing.
What’s your prized possession?
My engagement ring. I feel naked without it! It’s the most expensive thing I own and it’s absolutely perfect. (Good job, Stephen!) I also endearingly call it Mr. Sparkles. Stephen doesn’t like that.
Who is your celebrity fashion/style match?
Okay, full disclosure. I had no idea who my match was so I googled “celebrity style match quiz.” I must be a teenager at heart, because I got Taylor Swift. How did the quiz find out that I rocked a heart print dress and knee-high suede boots to her concert last September? You really can’t go wrong with feminine sundresses, oversized cardigans, and patterned tights, okay? I could’ve done worse. I could’ve gotten KeSha.
What kind of bride are you?
I’m a budget conscious and personal bride. It’s important that our wedding reflect who we are as a couple! We’re super down-to-earth and we aren’t into extravagance. We’re definitely not elegant and glamorous (unfortunately).
