Good morning everyone. You’re going to love today’s winter inspiration shoot from Marisa Nicole and captured by Becca Rillo Photography. This photoshoot is vintage classic with a hint of modern with the unexpected colour combination (pops of coral/orange and teal). I also adore the bridal gown which has a traditional off-the-shoulder lace detail. Read on after the images to get some items I found stood out to me from this photoshoot. Enjoy :)

Unexpected Color Combination

I love the fresh colour combination of orange/coral and soft teal. They’re not an expected complement, yet when used together in this inspiration shoot, the palette works. The use of peaches and soft pinks mellow ground the two colours so that they’re not overwhelming or competing with each other.

Wrapped Gift Favors for Guests

This is the first time I’ve seen a table of wrapped gifts that weren’t for the bride + groom. Here, gifts were wrapped in tiffany blue/teal and orange paper to complement the wedding colors. Each were addressed to couples attending the wedding. Definitely a nice twist. Guests will be surprised they’re the ones taking home a gift at the end of the night!

Combination Tall and Short Centerpieces

One thing you notice in this photoshoot is that the table includes a combination of tall and short centerpieces in the same florals. If you think that the centerpieces on this tablescape are ‘too much’, you might want to consider having short centerpieces on half the tables and tall centerpieces on the rest. It’s nice to mix things up. It’s also important to remember that if you want tall centerpieces, make sure to use clear or translucent vases. This makes it easier for guests to see one another from across the table.

I Love the color combo. It’s extremely beautiful. The teal with the coral is so lively for the winter. Congrat’s to Bride and Groom.
