Happy Wednesday. Just how excited are you for another real wedding? Of course we’ve got another beautiful one all thanks to Rachel A.Clingen Wedding & Event Design. If you’ve seen Rachel’s previous features on Wedding Obsession, you always know we’re in for a treat. Jamie and Danielle’s inspiration for their wedding was intimate and romantic. Held at the chic MacLaren Art Centre, the venue was transformed into a chic and sophisticated event filled with pink and purple florals. Photography was by the ever talented Samantha Erin Photography.
Their love story
Jamie and I met through mutual friends on news years eve 2003, he asked to kiss me at midnight i said on the cheek :). Unfortunately he was attending university of boston at the time, It actually worked out great cause we would stay up all night for 6 months talking on the phone. We got to know each other on a personal level.
Jamie’s mother has passed and her favourite thing was lady bugs so i searched high and low for the lady bug cuff links.
What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?
The whole day was euphoric. its the most special day of all. i have to say the moment that sits with me is walking toward this beautiful decorated room and then looking up to my soon to be husband. his chin was shaking and the tears of joy were falling it was such a beautiful thing to see how truly excited he was to marry me.
Do you have any advice for other brides-to-be?
My advice to all brides would be enjoy the whole day from the minute you wake up to the moment your head touches the pillow. This is your day ladies if something doesn’t go as planned don’t sweat it you are marrying the man of your dreams and will be surrounded with the people you love most. Its really is the happiest day of your life and don’t let anyone of anything ruin it.
Its the only day to say this is my day and i will enjoy it.

I like the way that they mixed modern with romantic. Like the clear lucite stands with the softer touches of draping elegant containers for the florals :)
