I’ve never really thought about putting primary colours together. But when I recently browsed through Elie Saab’s 2012 ready-to-wear collection, I was absolutely enamoured with the use of blue + green.

So of course, I wanted to create an inspiration board using these bold primary colours. I decided to tone down the blue from a cobalt to more of a navy which ended up complementing the emerald green.

I love the rich colours you’ve used here! One of our designers created a deep blue sample board a while back and your board inspired me to dig it out. http://www.sampleboard.com/boarddetail/598
People so often shy away from such intense use of colour for weddings, but it really looks fab! Will keep it in mind for my wedding one day :)
