Happy Friday! Before the week ends, I have one more real wedding up my sleeve to share with you. Trina & Jeff are high school sweethearts. After dating 9 years, they finally tied the knot in a beautiful green & blue themed wedding in Chilliwack, BC. Photography is is by the ever sweet Ashley of Ashley Martens Photography.
From the bride: For our cake topper (the fish hook)….story behind this is whenever jeff takes me fishing something happens and one time i went to cast and the hook actually went into his leg. He had to cut his shorts open and pry the hook out of his leg (i couldn’t do it). So i thought the cake topper was perfect for us :)
“He proposed on Christmas Eve of 2009…I came off a 12 hour day shift (i was working all Christmas…..put my pj’s on and asked if we should open presents…so we did…he was still opening his and i was done..but he said “oh i think there is one more present under the tree” but i thought he was just saying that because he felt bad i didn’t have anymore to open..so i’m like no…then he walked over to the tree and turned around with the ring…but i totally forgot what he said b/c i was full of tear…and of course said yes:) ”

New England Wedding on August 21, 2011LOVE your cake topper! From Metro Vancouver, My fiancé & I often fish the Chilliwack/ Vedder River. Actually considered Tamihi Creek as ceremony site.(we decidedi t was just a little too rustic) Both avid angler, when he told me he loved me more than fishing… I knew he was a keeper.
