Whether you saw the amazing movie Black Swan or not, you’ll absolutely love this next photoshoot. The genius behind these gorgeous images is the talented Julin Athalia Lee of Vancouver-based Athalia’s Photography. She created this entire DIY affair with the help of some fabulous vendors to create a look that has a sophisticated flair with a hint of drama. One of my favourite shoots thus far.
Says Julin,
We were thinking of inexpensive DIY things every bride-on-a-budget can do for their wedding; the pompoms, sugar pearls thank you gifts, cake pops escort cards ( which can serve as Thank-you gifts too! So 2-in-1 ! ), themed menu, hair pieces, etc.. I know being a bride on a budget can be so stressful so we tried to incorporate all the fun ballerina/swan lake DIY things; white+black, lace, tutu, feather, blings, pearls, flowers to bring the whole theme together!
