HAPPY MONDAY! The month is flying by SO quickly. Can you believe it’s already mid-January? I just pulled together my publishing schedule for the blog for the next couple weeks and you are totally in for a handful of inspiration. I am so excited. Says Julia (the bride): As for my inspiration for wedding colours, I wanted to incorporate rich jewel tones right from the start of the planning process, as I was having a fall wedding but wanted to avoid the typical fall colours (red,brown,orange). I found the bridesmaid dresses that I loved and they only came in a few colours, the colour I chose was the closest to the jewel tone idea that I was hoping for. I also wanted a splash of pink, so I incorporated that in the flowers.
For the rest of the decor, I wanted to keep it simple and classic, which is why I went with the champagne and ivory colours in the linens and other reception decor, I did however want a touch of sparkle in some hanging crystals over the dance floor, from the centerpieces and some loose ones surrounding the base of the centerpiece.
