This past weekend went by SO quickly and it was filled with none other than wedding related appointments. I really wonder what I’m going to do with myself once this wedding is over! Over the next week, I’ll be sharing with you a series of personal photos taken either by myself or Jason with a couple tidbits on how the planning is progressing. Just over a month to go!
First stop: JACEK Chocolate Couture
I met up with Jacqueline, owner of JACEK Chocolate Couture, to chat about weddings and possible chocolate favors for my guests. Not only was I impressed with the quality of the presentation (you know I’m a sucker for that), but I can’t say enough about the taste of the chocolates. They literally melt in your mouth. My ultimate fave from the box of goodness would have to be a tie between the “Velvet Milk Chocolate Mousse with Cardamom” and the “Raspberry Parfait”. We were thinking of getting the cube-like chocolates to go with our wedding theme and I really liked the idea that I could have monograms on the chocolates. If you’re a chocolate lover, you should stop by Cafe Haven in Sherwood Park or Black & Bold in Edmonton.
