I love the masculinity of this color palette with just enough yellow to lighten the decor. For those who find black a bit strong or for those who aren’t allowed to use black due to cultural reasons, navy blue is a fabulous choice to pair with just about any color. I like to think that this yellow is more of a yellow-gold which really lends itself well to gold accents should you choose to incorporate them as well. Gold drop down earrings with a dark navy gemstone would look simply divine next to a simple, white gown. And I will never get over how much I love the yellow dress by J. Mendel. Genius and totally architectural. So modern and just right.
