YOUR DAILY WEDDING DOSE:

After all this..

TGIF TGIF!! I’m posting this late Thursday night because I have a work thing to do at 6:30 AM in the morning. AK! Blame the time differences..

Speaking of time differences, I’m in the process of booking my flights and hotels for my honeymoon! Surprisingly, I think I’m more excited about this trip than my own wedding. Perhaps that’s why I want it all to come sooner, so I can relax for 2 full weeks in the sun :] So where are we going? Well, Jason and I have VERY different tastes. If he could, we’d be going to Japan, Thailand or China. Hm, maybe it explains why this Irish boy fell in love with a Chinese girl. Little does he know, I am the farthest thing from Asian. As my dad says, I am the banana and Jason is the egg. Oh boy.

I’ve always wanted to go to Europe. I’m the type of person who dreams of one day living/working in Germany or opening a bed & breakfast in Prague. Realistic at the moment? No. Luckily, we finally agreed on one location…and that would be..

BARCELONA & MALTA!!

We are both avid fans of modern architecture (which really isn’t suprising considering our wedding venue). Last weekend we went to the “museums of the 21st century” exhibit at the Art Gallery and were literally pulling each other in different directions. “OMG see this! look at that building! I want that picture of that museum on my wall!” And of course, Barcelona is known for its architecture, so we are thrilled to be headed there. While Jason and I would get bored on a beach, I begged to go to Malta, a little collection of islands in the Mediterranean Sea. Silly as as it sounds, one of my favorite movies, the Count of Monte Cristo was filmed there and ever since, I’ve wanted to go there. The dream has come true.

Ok enough is enough…I am rambling WAY too much. Have a great weekend for those who read this!

Oh malta. Oh the time I spent there as a young girl was wonderful. It really is a love it or hate it place. Malta, we love Malta!

    You lucky thing!
