I had a look at the recent hairstyles on the runway for 2009 ready-to-wear and found one resonating trend: chignons. Whether ornamented with accessories or kept neat and simple, all these low chignons were paired with slicked back hair and plenty of hairspray. While I’m not always a fan of stiff hairdos, it’s comforting that the style will stay beautiful throughout a long day for a very busy bride.
