YOUR DAILY WEDDING DOSE:

A Captured Proposal
+2 June 2009+ Home > Real Weddings

This is one of those stories that will make you go “awwww“!

Haley and Michael from Shandro Photo in Edmonton were part of a master plan along with a acapella singing group and videographer to create the most adorable surprise proposal. What was initially a nice walk in Hawrelak turned out to be a very memorable day for soon to be engaged Nitin & Sameera.

Says Haley:

Nitin and Sameera were taking a casual stroll in Hawrelak Park…

…and stopped to enjoy an acapella group (Epsilon), who was randomly singing by the water’s edge. A husband and wife were playing nearby with their son, and taking photos of him (that would be us)…

…when Nitin jumped in the middle of the group, sang the last two verses of ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’, and proposed!

Sameera had no idea what was coming, and of course said yes.

Gosh, isn’t the ring gorgeous? Congratulations and best wishes to the newly engaged couple!

Thanks to Haley & Michael for stopping by to share with us this special story.

That is a cute story. Some guys really make the effort to make the proposal special.

Melissa I am very well. Working on redesigning the blog at the moment. How about you?
