{my wedding obsession – and this isn’t all of them! PS: I have got to stop using my cell phone as a camera…more evidence that I need an SLR!}

Whew..it’s looking to be a busy next couple of months. As you know, I have a job that actually pays the bills (if only blogging could be so nice to me!) and I’ve been given a new portfolio that requires a lot of traveling. While I hate pulling away from my blog, I at least have my laptop which allows me to post while I’m all bored in my hotel room!

And, while it seems Jason & I have confirmed my wedding venue in my last personal post, we’re still on the hunt for something different…there are reasons why, but I won’t get into it!

Anyways, last weekend I visited the Winspear Centre Open House which was great. Violinists played in the background, drinks were provided and we were able to taste the fantastic food of the Winspear’s preferred caterers. We were given a tour of the available rooms, in fact some were set up as a mock ceremony & reception. However, it would have been nice to see the lobbies dressed up as well, since it’s harder to envision a wedding reception in the space without physically seeing it. While I love the Winspear, the 7 month confirmation policy scares me. This means that you lose the room up till 7 months before your wedding if a concert or event is booked. But regardless, it’s a great venue for brides who are willing to budge on their date or take a risk. A big thank-you to Peggy for sending me info on the event! I’ll post pictures soon!

I’ve also received some wedding invitations/save the dates which I’ve agreed to review – stay tuned for that.

And…I have three weddings to attend this summer. It really is that time of year! I am very eager to share the pictures with you, as it will surely be a wealth of inspiration.
