There is something so romantic and traditional when a bride wears a mantilla veil. The piece itself commands attention placing all eyes on the bride as she walks down the aisle. I am strongly considering this, however, it ultimately depends on the type of dress I will end up choosing. In my opinion, a mantilla veil is paired best with an a-line gown, so as not to overwhelm the overall look.
For those not familiar with mantilla veils – they originated in spain, made popular by royalty in the mid 1800s. But you don’t have to be Spanish to wear one! Brides are choosing them more often because they enjoy the style. I especially like the lace detailing that frames both sides of the bride’s face.
