Some of you might have seen this wedding featured in the Brides magazine, but it warrants a second look! The bride tried her best to incorporate vintage details into her wedding and there are some great ideas you can take away from it.

The groom and groomsen wore striped green and black socks from J Crew, while the bride wore cute, red pumps that were perfect for her vintage ‘look’,

The satin ivory Jim Hjelm gown was altered to achieve the bride’s vision. The straight neckline was changed into a sweetheart style and the belt was actually made by the bride. She purchased a vintage belt buckle from ebay and added it to some extra fabric. She even created her own birdcage veil, which really tops off the look.

The bridesmaids wore chocolate-brown lace dresses.

To honor the family, the bride’s mother created this family tree which was displayed at the reception.

A common thread throughout was the pattern seen on the reception tables which was silk screened on the linens. Tables were named after cities the couple visited together. I love the contrast between the purple florals and the rustic motif & place cards.

Love those birdcage veils; love the wreath on the tree; love this whole shoot. It leaves me with a lot of inspiring ideas . . .
