Marion Cotillard tried something a little different by wearing this white Jean Paul Gaultier gown with scalloped detailing to the 2008 Oscars. A winner of an award, Marion oozed glamour when she walked on stage in the form fitting gown looking quite like a model mermaid. In fact, now we’re seeing scallopwed detailing as a trend for 2009 in wedding fashion. Here on left is a gown from Reem Acra‘s 2009 spring collection that attempts the scale-like details with silver beading.
