Don’t you just hate how celebrities can afford to wear the glamourous designs of the most talented designers in the world? Don’t you also envy how they can wear a formal white gown and not get asked “is it your wedding day?” and only reply “why no, I just felt like wearing white.” Ok, so I’m exaggerating, but honestly, I had those thoughts in my head when I saw pictures of Camilla Alves, significant other of the hunky Matthew McConaughey, at the Dolce and Gabbana “Golden Age” Party in Milan. Not only does she look absolutely stunning, but she just so happens to be the mother of his child (this lady’s got it going on!). Her white and strapless, empire waist gown is to die for and you really can’t help but imagine the picture above as Camilla and Matthew’s much anticipated wedding day.
Anyways, enough of my drooling over how she looks in that gown. I ended up looking for a wedding gown that was similar (which really wasn’t that hard) and located a billowy dress in Monique L’huillier‘s Fall 2008 Collection. If you are on a budget, you will surely find a gown for much less if you keep in mind the accent points.
