"I Do" in Binary

By Melissa

As you know, I like to reveal my geek tendencies once in a while by posting neat finds that bring out the geek in me when it comes to wedding details. And indeed I found something that will satisfy all those computer nerds who understand the language of binary. The rings are encoded with 5 parallel tracks, with each track representing a digit in the binary lexicon. I’d explain, but it might just confuse you more, so if you are interested check out the website below to read more. The ring above has the hidden message “A Marriage of Values.” Each ring can hold up to 20 characters and can be cast in either recycled yellow gold, white gold or platinum.

greenKarat is an eco jeweler that makes custom wedding bands or engagement rings from recycled materials to provide brides/grooms with ecologically responsible alternatives.

This just might be the ring for my computer programming nerd of a fiance who at the moment wants only a black titanium wedding band. Yet another option…
