Who knew the ever so quirky Betsey Johnson has decided to break into designing wedding gowns?
At New York Fashion Week, Betsey’s 2009 spring collection surprisingly included some bride-like ensembles among her other youthful and eccentric pieces which everyone has been accustomed to. Wearing what seemingly looked to be wedding gowns, the models walked down the catwalk with their hands tied behind their backs with handcuffs. Talk about being chained down by marriage!! Truly it isn’t like being in jail! (hm…on second thought)
A bit to weird for my taste. It reminds me too much of what Madonna wore way back when. But fun to look at nonetheless. See below for more:

Betsey Johnson is hands-down my favourite designer; I’d kill for one of these! All of my homecoming and prom dresses have been by her, hopefully I’ll still love this look in a few years!
