Japanese Inspired Wedding Gown

27 August 2008

This stunning dress successfully incorporates details from traditional Japanese wedding kimonos. Made of vintage, ivory uchikake, the gown is complete with a bottom band and cowl neck of silver silk charmeuse and finished with a silver obi belt with light blue highlights.

EXACTLY what was in my mind when I started googling japanese INSPIRED wedding gowns. Beautiful. Did you have it custom made? what was the cost? who was the designer?

    Hi Lisa,

I sent a request to the designer of the gown to see if she takes custom orders on the gown. She is actually a design student and the gown was just one from her portfolio. See her proile at: http://myitthings.com/midori81/

I’ll let you know more details when I hear back from her!
