Recycle Friendly Invitations

When I saw this eco-friendly Smart ForTwo invitation for its debut in New York, I could really see the potential in applying the idea into a wedding invitation. Harrison & Shriftman created this flower-seed-laced invitation for the car’s new debut in New York, with a mini cut out card that falls out upon opening the invitation. While the event details were written on the car insert, the envelope gave instructions on how to plant the card, as it naturally decomposes in soil.
For your wedding, think about inserts that outline something that is symbolic of your relationship. Examples I can think of off the top of my head include a heart, a sun, or an outline of a skyline (if you both love the city).
In the end it doesn’t really matter what design you choose for the invitation. It’s all about your tangible effort to give back to your environment.
